Selective partnerships
For a small number of finished or advanced games with demonstrated demand, Crossforge may combine console porting, certification, and publishing support in a project-specific partnership.

What this model is
This path is for games that have already proved something in the market - not for funding an idea from first prototype through PC launch.
A deal may include
Defined separately
Selection criteria
No single metric decides the outcome. We look for a product, audience, technical scope, and working relationship that make sense together.
Public signals that demonstrate audience interest and commercial fit.
A finished or advanced game with strong fundamentals.
A codebase, feature set, and schedule with a credible console path.
A working relationship and investment structure that make sense for both teams.
Deal structures
The investment, platform scope, rights, and responsibilities are shaped around the assessed opportunity.
For selected games, Crossforge may fund agreed console work in exchange for a negotiated revenue share.
A project may combine reduced upfront work, shared investment, or other project-specific terms.
Rights, store responsibilities, reporting, release decisions, and each party’s role are defined in the agreement.
How selection works
Store page, trailer, status, public traction, engine, and requested platforms.
Audience, product readiness, console potential, and initial scope.
Secure access followed by technical and commercial evaluation.
Responsibilities, investment, rights, milestones, and production begin after signature.

Still curious? Email usWe look for finished or advanced games with demonstrated demand, strong product quality, technically reasonable console scope, and a credible release path. The product, audience, feasibility, and working relationship matter more than genre alone.
A public PC release gives us the clearest evidence, but other validated audience signals may also be considered. A concept, pitch deck, or early prototype by itself is generally not enough for this model.
For selected projects, a deal may include Crossforge-funded console porting and related release work. It does not automatically include unfinished core-game development, full-service PC publishing, or every external launch expense. The agreement defines the investment precisely.
The percentage, recoupment if any, platform scope, term, reporting, payment schedule, and covered costs are negotiated after assessment. We do not publish a standard percentage because the structure depends on the project and investment.
The developer retains ownership of the game and IP under our standard approach. Publisher-of-record status, store control, approvals, console-specific changes, and release responsibilities are defined in the agreement. Revenue share alone does not determine the publisher of record.
We start with the public information you send. If the game looks like a possible fit, we’ll get in touch, arrange an NDA, and take a closer look together. Submitting a game starts a conversation rather than an automatic offer, and the next step depends on what we learn during the review.
